Dr. Adelīna Nikitenko.

Resident doctor at the RSU Clinic of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy.

Dr. Nikitenko obtained her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Riga Stradiņš University.

During her studies, she actively participated in the RSU Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, Neurology, and Neurosurgery student research groups. She also deepened her knowledge in psychotherapy by conducting and presenting research at student conferences on the prevalence of generalized anxiety among high school students and its correlation with loneliness.

Beyond medicine, she enjoys spending time in nature and photography.

She believes that every person and their experiences are unique and valuable. Through mutual respect, empathy, and openness, psychotherapy can foster personal growth and contribute to both physical and emotional well-being.

Happiness is not the absence of problems - it is the ability to deal with them.”
