Dr. Aleksandra Gromova.

Resident doctor in psychotherapy at the RSU Clinic of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy.

Dr. Gromova obtained her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Riga Stradiņš University.

During her studies, she participated in scientific research in oncology and psychosomatic medicine, exploring the connection between somatic symptoms and emotional disorders. Alongside her medical studies, she was actively involved in charitable activities within the Latvian Rare Diseases Alliance and participated in RSU Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Student Research Groups.

She believes that psychotherapy not only helps to build respectful relationships with oneself and others but is also an essential part of both health prevention and the treatment of existing illnesses, emphasizing the profound impact of mental well-being on the body.
