Doc.dr.med.Artūrs Utināns is a physician-psychotherapist at the RSU Psychosomatics Clinic and a lecturer at the RSU Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy.
He graduated from the Latvian Academy of Medicine in 1991 and completed his psychiatric internship in 1993. He studied psychodynamic psychotherapy for eight years in various training programs organized by Swedish mental health professionals.
Dr. Utināns is the author of several books, including "Romantic Love and Mental Disorders" and "The Human Psyche, Functional Disorders, and Treatment Possibilities."
He is a member of the Latvian Psychiatric Association and the Latvian Medical Psychotherapists Association.
