Resident in psychotherapy
Dr. Džūlija Litiņa is a psychotherapy resident physician at the RSU Clinic of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy. She obtained her medical degree from Riga Stradiņš University. During her studies, she participated in the Psychotherapy Student Scientific Interest Group, where she contributed to several research projects. In her free time, she was an active member of the Mental Health Team of the Latvian Medical Students' Association.
She views psychotherapy as a collaborative, in-depth, and purposeful process between physician and patient, focused on the patient's emotional experiences and their impact on both mental and physical health.
