Dr. Karina Rudus.
Resident doctor at the RSU Clinic of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy.
Dr. Rudus obtained her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Riga Stradiņš University.
During her studies, she actively participated in the RSU Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, and Physiology student research groups, gaining deeper knowledge in mental health and reinforcing her belief in the constant interplay between the human mind and body.
She conducted a research study on the correlation between anxiety severity and stress-coping strategies among students, which she presented at an international scientific conference. She is also an author and co-author of research papers in various medical fields.
She believes that psychotherapy provides a safe and supportive environment for exploring personal experiences, gaining self-awareness, understanding the root causes of difficulties, and working through them—ultimately fostering well-being and personal growth.
