Neurologist
Dr. Madara Kalniņa is a certified neurologist. She obtained her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Riga Stradiņš University.
She is currently continuing her postgraduate training in a residency program leading to subspecialty certification in sexology.
Dr. Kalniņa seeks to understand both the structural and functional changes of the brain. She believes that "everything is neurology"—how we perceive, experience, and enjoy the world, as well as how we interact with it.
Through psychoeducation, she helps patients understand the interplay between the brain's conscious and emotional pathways, providing insight into what is happening in the mind—and throughout the rest of the body.
