Dr. Paula Marija Vimba is a resident physician at the RSU Clinic of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy. She obtained her medical degree from Riga Stradiņš University.
During her medical studies, she focused on research related to anxiety and depression across different age groups and presented her work at several international scientific conferences. She was also an active member of the student scientific interest groups in oncology, psychiatry, and psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy.
She believes that psychotherapy offers a safe and supportive environment in which individuals can get to know themselves better, gain a deeper understanding of their emotions, relationships, and bodily responses, recognize symptoms as signals of underlying issues, and work through them to achieve greater well-being at any stage of life.
