Jelena Silkina earned her Professional Master’s degree in Psychology from Riga Stradiņš University. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Latvia, specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT). Additionally, she is undergoing CBT training.

Jelena Silkina conducts psychological assessments for children and adolescents:

  • Autism Diagnosis;
  • Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-IV) – intelligence testing for children aged 6–17;
  • Munich Functional Developmental Diagnostics – developmental assessment for children aged 1–3;
  • Achenbach System of Empirically Based Assessment (ASEBA) – emotional and behavioral assessment for preschool and school-age children, as well as adults.

Jeļena Silkina specializes in working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual disabilities. She applies evidence-based methods, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Therapeutic Approach:

  • Individual therapy focuses on developing age-appropriate communication, self-care, and academic skills;
  • Supportive counseling for parents to help them understand and manage their child’s needs.

She provides individual psychological counseling for adults, integrating psychological consultation techniques and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches to support emotional well-being and personal growth.
